What is Crime Stoppers?
The Halifax County, NC Crime Stoppers Program encourages citizens of the community to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.
We want to know about burglaries, robberies, drug deals, vandalism, violent acts and threats of violence, and/or any crime of a serious nature. And if you know of a crime that is about to be committed, we want to hear about that, too.
The Halifax County Crime Stoppers provides an anonymous, tip line, Web tipping and a mobile tip application to encourage citizens in the community to volunteer vital information helpful to law enforcement agencies in the Halifax County, NC area in the fight against crime.

Do you have information about a crime?
If the information you provided is helpful and leads to an arrest and the recovery of weapons, narcotics, stolen property or the capture of a wanted fugitive, you could be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1,000. If the information you provide helps solve a homicide case, you will be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $5,000.
